Fruit and Pudding Dessert

3 sticks margarine
2 cups vanilla wafers
2 eggs
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 or 3 bananas
1 13 oz can crushed pineapple
1 13 oz cool whip (room temperature)
Cherries and nuts for decoration

Melt 1 stick margarine.
Crush vanilla wafers between wax paper with a rolling pin.
Mix melted margarine and crushed wafers together.
Line bottom of a 13 inch layer pan.

Mix in a large mixing bowl:
2 eggs
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 sticks soft margarine

Beat 10 min. on HIGH.
Spoon mixture over wafers in pan.

Slice bananas lengthwise and place on top of mixture in pan.
Drain pineapple and place on top.
Spread cool whip over pineapple.
Sprinkle cherries and nuts on top.
Chill at least 1 hour before serving.
