Summer Squash Casserole

2 lbs yellow squash 1 tsp salt
1 large onion, chopped 1 tsp pepper
1/2 cup milk 1/2 tsp sage
1 Tbs margarine 1 egg
1 cup bread crumbs

Scrape off bad sections and wash squash.
Chunkily, chop squash.
Boil in 1/2 cup water with a large onion.
Drain and mash. Beat in egg, milk and spices.
Add bread crumbs and place in a buttered baking dish.
Bake at 350 F for 45 min.
